The Korea Times - Quality daily paper published by Hankookilbo Newspaper Company.

The Seoul Times - Online English newspaper for foreigners in Korea.

 

Locally, The City Pages has a wealth of information about events, theaters and restaurants around the Twin Cities.  Searches can be done by cuisine and location if you're looking for something special close-by.

The Minnesota Monthly is a very similar publication listing special events and restaurants.

Adopted Korean Connection - The mission of AK Connection is to be resource for adult Korean adoptees by providing information and building a supportive community.  Their goals are to: provide a web site dedicated to the global community of Korean adoptees displaying current information and resources of interest; and, host ongoing educational, cultural and social events to foster friendship, acceptance and support for Korean adoptees in Minnesota.

Asian Pages - Asian Pages is an award-winning biweekly newspaper serving seven Midwest states--Illinois; Iowa; Michigan; Minnesota; North and South Dakota, and Wisconsin. Over 15O,OOO people read Asian Pages each and every month.

Children's Home Society of Minnesota - A major adoption agency in the Twin Cities with supportive services for adopted children and their families.

Global Overseas Adoptees' Link - Is a non-profit organization that helps adoptees re-connect with Korea by providing many services including: birth family searches, language study scholarships, and advice on visiting or living in Korea.

Grace Music School - This PDF document lists contact information for anyone seeking Music Instruction through the Grace Music School.  Grace Lee, one of Camp Chosôn's instructors, owns and operates the music school.

Hanboks And More - At this website, you can buy Korean cultural items including fans, chumonis, many ceremonial pieces (such as the 1st birthday hanboks), ornaments, toys, stationary, cd's/videos in hangul and mink blankets.

KAAN - The Korean Adoptee Adoptive Family Network mission is to network groups and individuals related to Korean adoptions.  The network facilitates dialogue, promotes resource sharing, and disseminates information.  KAAN works closely with its members, the Korean American community, and the Korean government to promote awareness of Korean adoption issues and develop programs that will benefit both the adoption and Korean communities.

Korean American Historical Society - Founded in 1985, the Korean American Historical Society (KAHS) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enriching the collective memory of Korean Americans through collecting, maintaining, and transmitting the heritage and achievements of Koreans living in the United States and abroad.

Korean American Scholarship Foundation - The Korean American Scholarship Foundation (KASF) is a non-profit, volunteer-managed organization established to help meet the financial needs of Korean-American students seeking higher education.  Founded in 1969 by a small group of concerned individuals in Washington, D.C., the KASF began as a local organization with limited focus and funding resources.  However, with the dramatic growth of Korean immigrant communities in the U.S., the KASF has expanded to include other regions and to broaden its funding base.

Korean Online - This is a service provided by the Sigma Institute.  They provide a searchable Korean-English dictionary, English-Korean dictionary, an introduction to Korean Characters (Hangul), Korean Radio webcasting, Korean font viewer downloads, and articles about the Korean Peninsula.  It's all free, so please make yourself at home.

Korean Quarterly - Korean Quarterly is a journal that provides independent and alternative reporting on issues of identity, racism, politics, the arts, and is a forum for the ideas and creativity of the whole Korean American community.

Language - Ten Chapters on Learning Hangul - This is a great site created by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Korea.  Many of the chapters offer sound so you can listen to the pronunciation.

Life In Korea - Tourism guide full of information and activities for foreign visitors and long-term residents in Korea.  Discover Korea, Land of the Morning Calm.

Soompi - A place to keep up with Korean pop culture.  There are translated articles and reviews, in addition to galleries, forums and news.

Theater Mu - Theater Mu began as a dream in the Spring of 1992, as Rick Shiomi, Dong-il Lee, Martha Johnson and Diane Espaldon got together to imagine an Asian-American theater based in the wheat fields of the Midwest.
