PRESCHOOL CAMP

About.

Preschool Camp is offered for kids ages 3-4, who are too young to enter Kindergarten in the upcoming school year.

Camp Choson's Preschool Camp will run Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-12 p.m., with parents expected to pick-up their child for lunch (which will be free for preschoolers).

Preschoolers will start their day with the older day campers at Achim Moim, a family gathering with entertainment and announcements. Following Achim Moim, the preschool group will attend their developmentally appropriate activities at various locations throughout camp. Your preschooler must be potty trained to participate in this program.

Community.

Our community starts its day together at Achim Moim and becomes closer through the enjoyment of good food and fun conversation.

A delicious lunch is provided to every camper, every day. Under the guidance of our head chef, Grace V., a strong core of volunteers cooks a traditional celebratory meal built with love with an understanding that coming together over a great meal makes warm memories.

We value early exposure and intervention for both children and their families! Therefore, we encourage parents to volunteer while their preschooler is at camp, attend parent workshops, and are available onsite to pick up their child for lunch.

Growing.

The community grows with knowledge and fun. Activities that preschool campers may participate and gain exposure in, include:

  • Korean Language and Culture

  • Traditional Dance and Drum

  • Taekwondo

  • Self-Esteem

  • Art

Community is not just for the kids…

While the kids are attending camp, parents and other relatives are asked to volunteer where possible and are also invited to attend the Adult Workshops (no charge), visit the Market, and enjoy a wonderful Korean lunch (tickets available for purchase).
